It is a 10-episode documentary that tells the history, expansion and future decline of the railroads of our country, which today struggles to return.
In 1857 the first railway in Argentina was inaugurated. During the following 90 years, it expanded hand in hand with the English, throughout most of the national territory, reaching almost 50,000 kilometers, communicating different parts of the country. At the end of the 1950s and years after nationalization, a period of regression began. In the 1990s, due to political decisions, a plan to reduce and privatize the railways began. It was the final blow. Of almost 50,000 kilometers of roads, 18,000 remained in operation, thus cutting ties with many towns in our country.
Today the railway struggles to return.
We propose to travel to each province and go through each branch that exists, the abandoned and those who fight to return. Each one of those stations, of those roads, has a story to tell. And we are going to do it.
We will also have the testimony of those people who have lived by and for the railway. In order to carry out our project we need your help, to cover equipment costs and transfers. We want to make a very complete and detailed documentary of each railway point in the country.

Compraremos una cámara, haremos un tráiler, para poder seguir buscando financiación. Cubriremos todos los destinos de la provincia de Buenos Aires.

Con este porcentaje podremos cubrir costos de equipos, y viajar a muchos destinos ferroviarios de la argentina. Y seguiremos buscando la diferencia de la financiación para poder llegar a todos los puntos de nuestro objetivo.
