Latinos showed up for COVID-19 at twice the rate of white New Yorkers. The contrasts more evident than ever. Who were the most affected? The fear of getting vaccinated because of the history of the United States. The fear of being deported. The ever present fear. conspiracy theories. Everything points to the same thing, in times of crisis it is always the same people who suffer the most. More than half a million people moved out of the city: the millionaires, while Latinos and immigrants stayed. I hate in the city, especially Asian people, accusing them of being the originators of everything. The anti vaccines making demonstrations. Fear everywhere. Latinos showed up for COVID-19 at twice the rate of white New Yorkers. The contrasts more evident than ever. Who were the most affected? Fragments of what happened at a precise moment in history, in real time, from the Latin perspective without leaving anyone out, and from one of the most important cities in the world.
