FIRST PRINTED MAGAZINE
Virginia Bolten Newspaper was born 4 years ago in the turmoiled environment of virtuality.
Up to now, we have been developing an extensive and hard work in digital format.
Navigating these waves was not always easy, but the number of readers and the recognition of our work allowed us to continue building Virginia Bolten, despite any adversity.
These years were years of free and hard work, a lot of research, hundreds of notes, interviews and a lot of body in the struggle.
Now, after months of designing, editing and writing, we are ready to make our first physical magazine a reality.
Finally, we will leave the virtual pages to meet our readers, touch their hands and eyes with the printed pages.
We only need one more step to make it happen. That is why we ask for your collaboration.
Those of us who make Virginia Bolten day by day believe that thanks to this great collective effort of carrying out a self-managed media and to the unconditional support of our readers we can make our project become real.
For this reason, and because we are always committed to collective construction, we have prepared some attractive proposals so that you can help us in this leap towards physical life.
By purchasing our printed magazine you will be able to read research on gender, indigenous peoples, extractivism, Palestine, etc.
In addition, this first magazine features previously unpublished photos and illustrations and also the first part of an exclusive comic!!!
If you want to help us with any other contribution you can add our stickers with exclusive designs, our t-shirt, also with an exclusive design, and two books written by members of our team:
"Urucum" by Vanessa Dourado, book of poems edited in 2019.
"Against male supremacism: attempted dialogue between hegemonic males" by Germán Romano, edited in 2019.
These proposals were designed so that at the same time that our readers enjoy them, they allow us to print the magazine and continue growing as a collective.
