is a young man who grew up without parents, raised by his grandparents in a house in precarious conditions
. Against all odds he has always studied and he's about to graduate from college. However, his home does not follow this progress in his life, as it's increasingly deteriorating
without the possibility of Mauri to repair it by himself. Us at Manos a la Obra (Hands in Action)
are a group of young people between the ages of 16 and 32, made up of volunteers, students and professionals, who work every Sunday to rebuild homes in emergency situations
, seeking to improve the life quality of the families who occupy them.
Beyond our efforts, Manos a la Obra also need your support
: we need to buy materials, tools, cement, paint, and to pay contractors for electrical and gas installations. In this particular case, we also need to purchase household equipment like a refrigerator, an oven and other basic appliances. We need to give Mauri a decent house for him to have the basic living conditions that every person deserves. Would you join us and put your Hands In Action? ABOUT MANOS A LA OBRA We take part of a project through which we want to change the reality of hundreds of families living in harsh conditions. It is often impossible for these families to move forward unassisted. Therefore, we decided to try to make their homes decent and comfortable places.
