Analisis of sustainable mobility projects
From Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro (November 5th - December 31st, 2012)

We are going to study and analyze the actions set up to promote sustainable mobility in several cities of Uruguay and Brazil. We will meet up with city officials and NGOs representatives of these cities (interviews). We will study the strategies that promote the use of public transportation and cycling, fostering sustainable mobility, and the actions in favour of environmental protection. We are going to publish articles and videos everyday on our way up to Rio!
The final production will be a short documentary film with the best elements of our adventure (travelling 2800km by bike), our discoveries, disappointments, presenting the best strategies for sustainable mobility that we’ll encounter on our way in different cities. The documentary film will be posted on our site http://biciactivistas.com.
We will present our short documentary film once we are back in Buenos Aires, in order to take part in festivals. We hope to present successful ideas, in order to improve the quality of life in urban areas.
