Promised by the heart.
Camila (15) being unable to talk to their parents about her premature pregnancy, follows the advice of Liz (17) of abort by herself. While the first one tries to do it, the second one waits outside the bathroom, offering to tell Cami her secrets in exchange for knowing "who knocked her up." However, after a silent pause, Liz discovers that her friend's fetus would not be the only one to lose their life with that risky "solution". A social shortfilm that talks of important not-very-talked subjects, as the existing taboo on youth sexuality causing an insufficient sex education, the fear of teens of talking to adults about their problems and fears, the ways they take to escape from these fears, family dysfunction, and most important, the risks of aborting by itself when it can't be do it medically because illegality. Without taking a position on whether abortion is right or wrong, this shortfilm talks of freedom of choice for people when it comes to issues related to their body, because we all may have different reasons for deciding things, and at the same time, tries to open the debate of: if people continue aborting (as we have seen it's inevitable), wouldn't it be better if people were able to do it safely so we could avoid losing more lives than just the fetus? Directed and produced by first-year students of the "Universidad del desarrollo" (University for Development) looking to deliver a meaningful message through an audiovisual piece. We need your help to make this project come true! Any donation is welcome!
If we don't reach the 100% of the funding goal, we will use it to do the following:
With the 10%
It would cover a part of the catering for the team and the actors.
With the 25%
It would cover the cost of catering and transport locations.
With the 50%
It would cover the cost of catering, transport, and one of the locations.
With the 75%
It would cover the costs of the main location, catering, transport and a percentage of the money needed to pay the second location.
