WHAT ISTHE FUROSHIKI ECOTECHNIQUE BOOK?
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese technique using a square piece of cloth called Furoshiki to make different types of bags and wrappings with only knots!
OUR PROJECT is to edit the first book with the techniques of Furoshiki in Spanish (at this moment there is only a Japanese and an English version), so that everybody can participate in preserving the environment by using Furoshiki for your shopping instead of boosting the production of plastic bags in the world! Will you help us?
THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM...
The plastic bags provided by the supermarkets are a big environmental problem, they require non renewable resources for their production, they take lots of years to deteriorate and in the cities where landfill sites do not exist (but also in most of them where they do exist...), once the bags are wasted, they are blown away and they not only ruin all the nearby areas, but they also are dangerous to animals, who are likely to ingest pieces of the bags.
YOU CAN HELP!
Each and everyone of us can participate, it is only a change of habits... There are lots of ways to achieve this, Furoshiki is one of them and a funny one, by the way!
The Furoshikis exist in many different designs you can choose according to your taste, wear or the place you are going to.
And the best about it? There are a lot of options for using the Furoshiki, from bags to purses, bagpacks, over wrappings and many, many more!
HOW CAN I HELP IN MAKING IT POSSIBLE?
At your right, you will find all the rewards you can choose from in exchange of your donation, each donation helps to turn the project into reality. There are a lot of options for all the people and all the tastes.
You can also contribute by promoting the project on Facebook, Twitter, by mail and getting friends, relatives, co-workers to join in... All kind of help is welcome!
